"I had StateFarm in another state and and it was absolutely great. When I moved here, I have to say that have I never seen such incompetence. Tami seems to not know what is going on and how to solve anything. I keep having multiple issues with the actually price to pay for my car insurance. I ended up speaking with the manager and this young man but it still took FOREVER to solve anything, even with me showing the prices Tami gave me. Just a headache. UPDATE: FEBRUARY 2025 I AM STILL HAVING ISSUES WITH STATEFARM AMES OFFICE FROM THE MOMENT I SWITCHED FROM OHIO STATEFARM TO AMES STATEFARM). I CANCELLED MY POLICY AND LET THEM KNOW ON FEBRUARY 6th or 7th 2025. NEVER GOT AN EMAIL SAYING MY POLICY CANCELLED. NOTHING. ITS BEEN TWO WEEKS AND NOW I RECEIVED A NEW POLICY CARD IN THE MAIL. I HAVE NEVER SEEM SUCH INCOMPETENCE IN MY LIFE. IN ADDITION, THEY WRONGLY STATED THAT I HAS AN ACCIDENT WHEN MY VEHICLE BROKE DOWN AND IT TOOK MORE THEN 6 MONTHS FOE THEM TO CHANGE IT, COSTING ME AN INCREASE IN PREMIUM WITH MY NEW INSURANCE. SCOTT RICHARDSON: IM NOT SURE WHY I NEED TO CALL YOU AT THE OFFICE BECAUSE YOU ARE NEVER AVAILABLE."

"I got a voicemail from Sam at Scott Richardson State Farm. Said he had urgent questions and to call him back. I am thinking there is something seriously wrong with my account. I call back at work and Sam started by saying I’m sure youve heard about the loss we have a had of one of our insurance sales people, and I said no. He then said he wanted to call and make sure families are protected, beginning to start trying to sell me life insurance. I had to stop him because I already have life insurance through northwestern mutual, as well as my funeral expenses taken care of if something were to happen to me. I am 34. What I didn’t like is how they were using one of their employees deaths to sell insurance, and leaving voicemails making it seem like there’s an issue with a customer’s account. I’ve been with Scott Richardson State Farm since 2009 but I was shocked how they went about trying to sell me life insurance today."

"I would caution anyone considering using this company for a whole life insurance policy. I requested to close my policy on March 13th. After multiple docusigns, many emails, phone calls to Scott Richardson's office and to SF corporate, I still have not received my cash surrender value as of April 30th. As of two weeks ago, SF was still sending me a bill for my cancelled policy. State Farm expects it's customers make payments to them, but doesn't respect their customers enough to do the same in return. Never again, State Farm!"
